Question 1

What is PhotoCandy?

Accepted Answer

You upload a batch of photos, pick an art style, and every photo comes back rendered in that style. People use it for wedding albums, holidays, birthdays and everyday camera rolls. You download the results and print them or share the files however you like.

Question 2

How do I try it before paying?

Accepted Answer

Create an account and verify your email, and you get 3 free credits. The trial is once per account and the verified email is what keeps it that way. When the trial runs out you buy a credit pack, there is no subscription. Create an account to start.

Question 3

How many photos can I do at once?

Accepted Answer

Up to 100 photos in one batch. If you have more than that, split them across several albums and they all sit on your dashboard. Each album keeps its own style, its own quality setting and its own status. Start an album.

Question 4

How long does an album take?

Accepted Answer

Most albums finish in a few minutes. Large batches at premium quality take longer. The album page updates photo by photo as each one finishes, so you can close the tab and come back later without losing anything.

Question 5

How do I get help?

Accepted Answer

Most questions are answered on this page, so it is worth a look first. If you still need us, email support@photocandy.app with the album title and what you expected to see.

Question 6

Which styles can I pick?

Accepted Answer

The full list lives on the styles page and it grows over time, so we do not repeat it here. Styles are grouped into collections so you can compare similar looks side by side. Each one shows its credit price per photo before you spend anything.

Question 7

What is the difference between standard and premium?

Accepted Answer

Premium spends more credits per photo and puts more work into the detail of the render. Standard is a sensible default for sharing and for small prints. You pick quality once per album, and the create page shows the total before you confirm.

Question 8

Which AI model do you use?

Accepted Answer

We do not publish model names. We pick whatever gives the best result for each style and swap it when something better appears, so what you choose is the look rather than an engine. The rendering itself runs at third party AI providers.

Question 9

What if I do not like the result?

Accepted Answer

Every album includes one free re-render in a different style, at no credit cost. Open the album, pick the photo and choose the new style. If the second attempt is still wrong, email us and tell us which album it was.

Question 10

What happens if a photo fails?

Accepted Answer

The album page marks each failed photo and shows the reason we got back, and an album with some failures is labelled partly failed rather than pretending everything worked. Usual causes are a broken upload or a file the provider refused. Email us with the album title and we will look into it.

Question 11

How do credits work?

Accepted Answer

Credits are what rendering costs. Each style has a credit price per photo, premium costs more than standard, so the total depends on the style and the size of the batch. The create page shows the exact cost and your balance before you confirm, and nothing is spent until you do.

Question 12

Do credits expire?

Accepted Answer

No. Credits stay on your account until you use them. There is no monthly fee, no plan to cancel and no clock running in the background.

Question 13

What if I do not like what I get back?

Accepted Answer

Your first pack is guaranteed. Run your own photos, and if you are not happy with how they come out, email support@photocandy.app within 14 days of that purchase and we will refund it in full. Anything you already downloaded stays yours. The remaining credits come off your balance when the refund goes through, and you can read the full conditions in the terms. Separately, and whatever pack you are on, a photo that fails to render is refunded in credits automatically.

Question 14

What do the packs cost?

Accepted Answer

Sampler is ₹149 for 20 credits, Creator is ₹499 for 70 credits, and Occasion is ₹999 for 150 credits. Creator is the one most people buy, and the full breakdown is on the pricing page.

Question 15

Where can I see what I have spent?

Accepted Answer

The credits page lists your balance and every change to it, with the reason and the balance after each entry. Trial credits, pack purchases, redeemed gift codes and album spends all show up there. If an entry looks wrong, email us and quote it.

Question 16

How do I pay, and can I use UPI?

Accepted Answer

Payment is in rupees through a secure checkout that accepts UPI, cards and net banking, so you can pay whichever way suits you. We never see your card or UPI details, and credits land in your account the moment the payment clears.

Question 17

How do gift codes work?

Accepted Answer

Someone buys credits for you and you redeem the code on the gifts page. The credits land in your balance and, like all credits, they never expire. You need an account to redeem, and each code works once.

Question 18

How do I download my results?

Accepted Answer

Open any finished photo to see it full size and save it, or use the collection page to prepare a zip of the whole set and download them all at once, named in order and at full resolution.

Question 19

Can I share a collection or album?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Turn on a share link from the collection or album, and anyone with the link sees the finished artwork only, never your original photos and nothing about your account. Turn sharing off and the link stops working straight away.

Question 20

Can I make a printed photo album?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From Albums you pick your favourite rendered photos, choose the paper and shape, and optionally add a short story, and PhotoCandy lays them out across pages you can download at print resolution and print as a book.

Question 21

Can one photo use a different style from the rest?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You choose one style for the batch, then give individual photos their own style before you start, or re-render any finished photo in a different style afterwards. Each collection includes one free re-render, and further re-renders cost the style’s normal rate.

Question 22

Who can see my photos?

Accepted Answer

Your uploads and your results sit in your account, and PhotoCandy does not publish them anywhere. To render an album, your photos are sent to third party AI providers, so they do pass through systems we do not own. That is worth knowing before you upload anything you would not want handled by another company.

Question 23

Do you train models on my photos?

Accepted Answer

PhotoCandy does not train anything on your photos. Once a photo reaches a third party provider, that provider’s own terms decide what happens on their side, and we are not going to claim otherwise on their behalf.

Question 24

Do I need permission from the people in my photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Before an album starts you confirm that you have the right to use the photos, including consent from anyone identifiable in them. That matters most for weddings, events, client work and any photo of a child, where the consent needs to come from a parent or guardian.

Question 25

Can I delete my photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Deleting a collection or an album removes the images behind it from storage, and you can do it yourself from its page. To close your whole account and everything in it, email support@photocandy.app and we will confirm once it is done.

Question 26

What security promises do you make?

Accepted Answer

Only ones we can keep. The site runs over HTTPS and albums are tied to your login, but we hold no security certifications and we are not going to invent any. If a photo is sensitive enough that sending it to a third party renderer would be a problem, please do not upload it.
