Why I built PhotoCandy

Hi, I’m Kai. PhotoCandy started with a gift. I wanted to turn a handful of a friend’s photos into AI art, but I had to do each one by hand in a chatbot, tweaking the prompt every time, and nothing could handle a whole set at once. It took a whole evening.

When I gave it to them, they were so happy with it, and that reaction is really why PhotoCandy exists. I wanted other people to make that kind of gift, and to feel what it is like to give it, without the hassle I went through.

So PhotoCandy does all of that for you. You pick the photos worth restyling and the look you want, and it handles the prompts and the whole batch, then lays the results into a little story you can print or hand to someone.

I keep PhotoCandy deliberately small. A handful of styles I would actually use myself, a price you can see before you spend it, and credits that wait for you instead of expiring. When something new is genuinely good, it gets added. Nothing goes in just to fill a page. If it would not end up in an album I would gift, it does not ship.

That is the whole idea. I hope you make something with it that you will want to keep, and maybe give away.
